If you don't need much AV help [animations, etc.], and don't mind a few hours of the talking head of Dr. Strogatz... go for it.

the usual problem is eye candy glitz and no depth, the problem here is the reverse. Well, actually, i didn't notice much depth either: the professor assumes you're starting from square one, so if you're thinking you're going to deepen your knowledge of chaos and fractals,
you won't, or at the least, it'll take a lot of wading through boring fluff.

not very good. they seem to have spent their budget on fancy packaging.
