The second album from Irish folk band The High Kings and, in my opinion, their best. All their albums have good stuff on them, but I find that this one's my favorite. With such songs as Step It Out Mary, As I Roved Out, Whiskey in the Jar, Leaving of Liverpool, Red is the Rose (the Irish version of Loch Lomond), the Rising of the Moon and my personal favorite, the Star of the County Down, this is sure to be a hit with fans of Irish music.
A collection of often fast-tempo Irish folks songs, performed by an all-male group. Very enjoyable for people who like this genre of music. Some of the more familiar old favourites are here.
