While I didn’t love this book like I did the first one, it was still a good solid story.
While I understand that Marcus’s identity is a key component to the creation of this series I can’t help that it drives me crazy when he just blurts out to anyone who he is. I didn’t think this story flowed with the same steadiness or kept my attention as well as the first volume but I did love the inclusion of the Syrian archers.
