The second chapter in the year long Brightest Day event. A great read, highly recommended.

Two star writing but the art was generally effective. Most of this is so tired, it would take a real white lantern to put some life in it. Transported to a savage planet where and evil queen rules savagely who happens to be your Mommy or, living in a dream world of lost Krypton, oops no Mars, but something is wrong, or your wife's evil sister who you never knew about is here to attack the planet. All that boring, trite material woven into a mega saga. And I forgot to mention the superhero whose uncontrolled powers threaten the whole cosmos, and the other ones who don't want to be superheros.

The next volume in the Brightest Day event follows most of the key players who were resurrected at the end of the Blackest Night event. Some of the characters are more compelling and interesting than others- probably hard to find anyone who finds Firestorm interesting, for example- and the art is consistently good in quality throughout.
