India today has a middle class that is bigger than the total population of the United States, yet half her children go to bed hungry. While the Indian economic miracle powers on, corruption, pollution, water shortages, inequity, ethnic and religious strife, and cold war with Pakistan cloud the future. As India is poised to become the third biggest economy in the world and play a stronger role in international politics, this series will consider the challenges facing the next superpower.

Very well-done Documentary Film about the Life in present India... Well-researched.. about the religions, economy, businesses, politics, etc..from the great expanse of India.. Personal interviews give this film warmth and personal touch that help the viewer to identify and understand the Indian people better! Very informative..The Film ends with tentative hope for the Country of India! Many things talked about in this Documentary, I was not aware of, even though I am well-read.. I highly recommend this Film!
