This series drove me bananas. I hated the graphic "bridges" and the whooshes that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Sometimes, they returned to explain and talk about the animals they initially mention in passing, and other times they didn't. I did like that they covered areas that you don't typically see in nature films, but not enough to watch the whole series.

Very disappointing! Great photography, BUT way too many repetitive special effects. Couldn't stand to sit through more than 2 of the 6 DVDs.
