Explains how WWI brought about the house of Windsor and goes up the engagement of William and Kate. Just covers the major monarchy moments and doesn't get into the gossip. Spends a lot of time on the Kings and then speeds up.

The History of the Royal Family has spanned for generations of Royal Watchers everywhere. This is a great video for future generations to come.

This dvd is just a bunch of news reports strung together. Fast-forwarded thru the early reports (black/white) because the announcer went on and on and on. (King George V's funeral coverage just kept saying the same corny things over and over). It gets better once we get to coverage of events in the 1970s since the reports were more concise. The most interesting part was the details of the coronation ceremony shown for George VI. Still worth watching if you like the British monarchy.

misleading cover; it doesn't even show Kate and Will's wedding, except a few clips in the bonus material.

Good documentary touching on the history of the Windsors; the documentary could have gone into greater detail had it been longer, of course. Plenty of archival material here, and well worth a look if you've got an interest in the Royals.
