Interesting details of Iraqi life - who knew that in Iraqi a first cousin is considered a perfect marriage partner and if there is no first cousin at hand, any cousin is better than an outsider.

Recipes, probably authentic but obviously from a culture that is under sanctions and has a very limited range of food available. I don't think I will be sewing pouches of lamb tripe to stuff and boil in a soup very often.
