I've enjoyed Webber's Phantom for years and so when I saw this on the shelf I scooped it up.
The production was nothing short of AMAZING -- especially as a stage production. It made the movie version made a few years back look incredibly superficial and weak.
This production made HUGE Phantom fans out of my kids too. Yeah! :) So much so, I've had 3 requests to go see it live as graduation presents AND two of my children have now made it their goal to BE in a production of the musical one day -- one as a violist, one as a vocalist!!!
It doesn't get much better than that!

Absolutely LOVED this!! I am huge fan of Phantom of the Opera (got to see it LIVE in Vancouver back in '91!) and this was a fabulous, live performance. The actress who played Christine was magnificent and I really liked the chemistry between her and Raoul. Watched it with my kids and now they cannot stop humming all the tunes. I highly recommend this!

Tribute production to 25 years of the Phantom with an amazing new cast, and full orchestra. Even if you've seen it before, it is well worth watching again.

Interesting staging in a concert setting.

An absolutely spectacular stage show with a flawless production matched with a pitch and note perfect cast. The staging is to die for and perfectly captures the setting and timeless songs that can be played over and over without fading in the depth of emotion.

an amazing production - i thought i knew the phantom of the opera, but i rediscovered its beauty and power with this. i loved the phantom - he had a beautiful voice and gave the role passion. christine tried a little too much with her singing (still prefer sarah brightman and emmy rossum), but she did give the character scope and depth that i believe did justice to the character. spectacular! smashing good fun.
