Amy Stewart is new on my favourite authors list. I had missed reading the first book when it came out because of too many books on my pile, and when I read this one I immediately read the first two as well.
What makes this story so believable is that it is grounded in reality. There really was a Constance Kopp who was a deputy in New Jersey. I love how Amy Stewart builds the story around historic events, and pores through rolls of microfilm for authentic newspaper headlines and bits of real news to sprinkle throughout her stories.
I hope that she has many more boxes of information to be able to write a few more Constance Kopp mysteries!
