This book had amazing power, and was very moving. Vivdly describing the atrocities of the atom bombs, it paints a relateable picture on human suffering, and fully illustrates the cruelty humanity is capable of. The people in the book are touching and poignant; and you can't help but imagine yourself in thier place. The Kirkus review on the back of the book states it perfectly- " Extremely painful too read-but absolutely essential to do so."
