In 80 short pages Andrews offers the most compelling call to political action I have ever experienced. How do you kill 11 million people? “The answer is breathtakingly simple. And it is a method still being used by some elected leaders to achieve various goals today. How do you kill 11 million people? Lie to them.” “Does adversity build character?...It does not. Almost all people can stand adversity of one sort or another. If you want to test a person’s character, give him power.” “… let me add one thing more. Power corrupts. Humanity’s need for those in power to be of high character increases as the importance of the position of leadership increases." I appreciate Andrews point of view immensely when he answers the question, “Who is lying to our country right now?” by saying “Sorry, but I’m simply not going to answer this question. The purpose of this book is to get you to answer that question for yourself!”
