EPL Picks: Celebrating Jane Austen's 250th Birthday in Film

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth, perhaps you have binge-watched your favourite film adaptations. You’ve seen Mr. Darcy dive into the water feature at Pemberley or alternatively watched him flex his hand or walk through the mist. What to watch next? Here’s a list of movies inspired by the life of Austen, the reverent or obsessive reading of her books, and that exhilarating feeling of getting lost in a good book. Though Austen’s six beloved novels have always left us wanting more, there is no shortage of work inspired by them.
